Yobe holds induction training for 2,670 newly employed staff

Yobe state government in collaboration with CEES Assist Resources Ltd have on thursday organized an orientation workshop for over 2670 newly employed staff for effective service delivery in their respective ministries, departments and agencies in the state.
Declaring the orientation training opened,Yobe state Head of Civil Service,Hamidu M Alhaji said,the training is imperative in the state drive to inculcate in the new workers with the essential skills knowledge and values in discharging their responsibilities for the attainment of optimum results.
He stated that,the training is being conducted as part of a holistic capacity building in the State and is also being held in the three Senatorial headquarters to suit the large number of the new employees
and the present circumstances.
The Head of Service revealed that,the trainees are expected to be well equipped with administrative and technical know-how before they are assigned suitable responsibilities for the attainment of organizational goals in their respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
He stated that,the training is designs to Provide a comprehensive understanding of Civil Service structures and functions,Equip participants with the essential skills in communication,team
work,problem-solving and decision-making among other.
"The newly employed staff who are drawn across 178 Political wards of the 17 Local Government Areas in the state attended the orientation workshop at the designated centers across the three senatorial districts of the state",said Hamidu.
The Head of Service enjoined all the participants with to pay attention to all the presentations to be made and ensure that they contribute meaningfully to the discussion and other relevant aspects of this important training to make it a huge success.
