The newly elected senator,Yobe East Senatorial District,Hon. Musa Mustapha (coolers)has appreciated electorates from across Yobe East Senatorial District for electing him to represent the constituents at the national assembly.

The Senator elect made the commendation shortly after the announced of his victory at the just concluded Yobe East Senatorial bye-election by the INEC in the state.

He assured the electorates that he is going to work day and night to make sure that their concerns are heard and address.

Musa Mustapha also appreciated Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni for endorsing him and support given throughout the bye-election exercise in the state. 

He commended the Independent National Electoral ommission(INEC)Security Agencies as well as Journalists for the role they have played toward the peaceful conduct of the Senatorial bye-election in the state.

"I will ensure to see that I make my contribution to the development of our zone and our dear state at large,"said the Senator elect.

Baba Malam Wali,as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 election. The endorsement was the high point of the group’s “Inclusive Governance for Collective Progress and Development Summit 2026,” where Christian stakeholders from Yobe South resolved to back continuity and reward inclusive leadership. Wali, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and began his career with the Chad Basin Development Authority (CBDA). He later served as Social Mobilisation Officer at the defunct Mass Mobilisation for Self-Reliance, Social Justice and Economic Recovery (MAMSER). The former SSG also worked as Principal Research Officer and subsequently Principal Private Secretary, now designated as Chief of Staff, to the Military Governor of Borno State.
