Gov.Buni a role model of good governance-NUJ Chair

Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni has been described as a role model of good governance and democracy that is worthy of emulation by other governments for Nigerian democracy to grow.

The Chairman Nigerian Union of Journalists(NUJ) Yobe state council,comrade Rajab Mohammed Ismail made the statement Thursday while briefing journalists on the recent tour carryout by the union to see for themselves the effort of the state and local governments towards improving the lives of the people of the state.

Rajab stated that,the projects seen on ground during the tour by Journalists,the transformation in heath, empowerment, employment education, infrastructural development under Governor Mai Mala Buni's leadership are quite exciting and fulfilling.

He noted that,in the area of health and education, governor Mai Mala Buni has establishesb140 primary health care centers that brought effective and efficient health care services to the people especially those at the grassroots.

He further revealed that,he said,the process of education is also fulfilling,as now students proudly post their WAEC,NECO and NABTEB results on social media.Governmet pay exam fees and professional registration fees like those of the Nigerian Law school,ANAN and I CAN among others.

He said,on road and transportation,they have seen a lots under Governor Mai Mala Buni' administration in terms of construction of township and inter-town roads across the state.

"Our team also pay visit and seen the government has completed the construction of untra modern market in Damaturu,Nguru and Gashua while those in Potiskum and Geidam nearly completion.

" We sincerely appreciate Yobe state Governor for his unparallel love and free hand to the media in the state.indeed he remains the most media- friendly Governor in Nigeria ",sai Yobe NUJ chairman.
