Gadaka joins Gov.Buni in receiving Condolences at Gov't House

The Chairman All Progressives Congress(APC)in Yobe state,Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka,was among the dignitaries in the state who joined Governor Mai Mala Buni in receiving thousands of sympathisers to condole with the government and pay their last respect to the former Yobe state Governor,late Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim.

Late Bukar Abba Ibrahim died in Saudi Arabia on Sunday after a protracted illness.

Governor,Mai Mala Buni, Mohammed Gadaka as well as top government officials in the state have today received, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya,Gombe State Governor who was in the state for the condolence visit.

Also,Individuals and groups within and outside the state continued to arrive at the government house mosque to pray for the repose of the soul of the late former governor.

During the condolence s, prayers were offered for Almighty Allah to forgives late Bukar Abba Ibrahim and grant him into Al-Jannatul firdaus.

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
