Yobe APC holds dinner party for the successful LG Polls

The All progressive Congress (APC)in Yobe state has on Sunday organized a dinner party as part of the effort by the state party critical stakeholders towards a successful chairmanship and councillors elections in the state.

The dinner party took place around 9:pm on Sunday at the presidential lodge in Damaturu,Yobe state capital 

In his welcome address,the state party Chairman,Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka who host the dinner party, appreciated the state and Local government critical stakeholders for the role they have played towards the success of the party who happened to win all the chairmanship across the 17 local government area of the state in the just concluded local government election.


He said,the dinner party is a forum to thank all the critical stakeholders for the rigorous campaign from state to local government down to the all 178 political wards of the state.

"we appreciate you for your loyalty, doggedness and believe in the All Progressives Congress",said the Yobe Party Chairman,Gadaka.


Gadaka commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for the giant stride towards conducting free,fair, credible and successful local government elections in the state.


Some very important personalities from the All progressive Congress (APC)national party office,state and Local government critical stakeholders as well as party members from the state attended the dinner party.

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
