LG polls:Gadaka cast votes at anguwar Dala.K polling unit

The Yobe state Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC)Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka was impressed with the way and manner in which the local government elections took place across the 17 Local government areas of the state.

Gadaka expressed his mind Saturday Shortly after casting his votes at anguwar dala.K,kofar maiunguwa polling unit 015,Gadaka/Shembere ward of Fika local government area of the state.

The state party chairman equally commended the state independent electoral commission(SIEC) for organizing a peaceful Local government election in the state.

"We are going to win all the Chairmanship as well as for the councillors seats.

"We are calling on all our party members across the state to always Unite themselves for the progress of our dear party APC,with unity  I'm telling you no body can defeat us",said Gadaka.

He commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for the developmental projects executed in the state and urged the people of the state to support him to do more.

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
