Reps Member Hassan El Binjas distributes palliatives to Constituents


The Member representing Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency, Hassan Jakduwa El Binjas, has distributed food and non food items to vulnerable persons in his constituency in order to cushion the effect of high cost living.

Flagging off the distribution of food and Non food items in Gashua,the headquarters of Bade local government area, El Binjas said that , the palliative distribution to his Constituents is meant to bring succour to the people in view of the economic hardship people are experiencing in the country.


Represented by Mallam Salisu Jawi, he stated that,the palliative will be distributed across the 20 wards making the Bade /Jakusko Federal Constituency .

Some of the beneficiaries who were overwhelmed with the gesture expressed gratitude to their representative and promised to utilize the items received judiciously .

Items distributed includes 900 25kg bags of rice ,500 cartons of spaghetti,200 cartons of ground nut oil ,100 50kg bags of sugar.

Other non food items includes; 250 blankets,250 women wrappers,250 belt of children clothes and 200 mats.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
