Yobe Journalists trains on Media Advocacy for Child Spacing

In an effort to improve maternal and child health,reducing poverty,and promoting economic growth in the state,Development Communications (DevComs) with the support of The Challenge Initiative (TCI)has on Wednesday commenced a 3-day training for journalists and social media influencers on Media advocacy for reproductive health including child spacing aspect in Yobe state. Speaking during the training in Damaturu,the TCI state program manager,Dr.Philemon Yohanna said,the training is aimed to facilitate scale up of media engagement in enhancing policy commitment, action and community support for increase accessibility and acceptability to appropriate child spacing information and services in the state.
