Gov.Buni to SSG:Commit your wealth of experience,Knowledge

Yobe state Governor,Mai Mala Buni has charged the Sworn-In Secretary to Yobe State Government,Baba Malam Wali to commit his wealth of experience to employ cost-effective measures for the government to save costs and channel more resources into people-oriented projects and programmes that would add value to the lives of the people.

The Governor made the called on Monday shortly after Sworn-In the secretary to the State government(SSG) took place at the Banquet Hall, Government House Damaturu.

Governor Buni stated that,he has no doubt in Baba Wali's sense of commitment to duty, patriotism,loyalty and proactive approach to service.

He enjoined the SSG to champion the delegation of duty and responsibilities to all officers under the supervision of their superiors to groom more competent officers as others go on retirement.
 
Buni stated that,"It is by doing so,that the state would harvest more proficient officers trained by your rich wealth of experience and knowledge.

"I'm convinced that the principle of division of labour and shared responsibilities would enhance efficiency and speed,and check unnecessary administrative bottlenecks that slow down government businesses.

The Governor congratulated the Sworn-In Yobe SSG for yet another opportunity to serve the state in this exalted position and look forward to his increased commitment to service.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
