Stakeholders Convene as Yobe APC Launches Grassroots Mobilization Toward E-Registration
By Ibrahim Shaibu
In a strategic move to secure the top position in the ruling party's digital ranks, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State has launched a full-scale mobilization toward the national e-membership drive.
The campaign aims to register every eligible resident, leveraging its unique political standing to claim national leadership in party membership.
The directive was issued by State Party Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka during a critical strategy session in Damaturu with leaders from all 17 local government areas.
The meeting focused on crafting a grassroots plan to dramatically increase registrations.
Chairman Gadaka pointed to a significant strategic advantage, stressed Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, who also chairs the APC’s National Reconciliation and Mobilization Committee.
"Our ambition is unequivocal. With our Governor at the helm of national mobilization, Yobe must not only participate but lead the entire country in APC e-membership," Gadaka declared.
He instructed party officials to immediately return to their wards and polling units to drive the enrollment process. "From the state level to the grassroots, every leader is charged with the responsibility to educate and ensure the registration of all eligible individuals in their areas," he added.
Key figures, including Hon. Usman Adamu Kabaruma, Special Adviser on Political and Legislative Matters, and State Party Secretary Alhaji Abubakar Bakabe, emphasized that the digital registration is essential for all citizens aged 18 and above.
