Madaki pays Sallah Homage to Emir of Gudi in Gadaka

The Madaki of Gudi emirate,and Yobe state party Chairman,All progressive Congress(APC)Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka has on Monday paid a Sallah home to Emir of Gudi Emirate,Alh.Isah Bunuwo Ibn Madubu Khaji at his palace in Gadaka town of Fika local government area of the state. Mohammed Gadaka also meets with the traditional tittle holders of the emirate to includes;the king makers,District heads (Hakimai)Village heads(Lamba) and ward heads(Mai Anguwa)respectively. The Madaki of Gudi who arrived Gadaka in company of some stakeholders in the state have a discussion on the ways to make Gadaka a better place and bring peace to the emirate and entire people of Gadaka. He said,“peace cannot be achieved without unity,tolerance, understanding among people, therefore there is needs to ensure we work in unison for the attainment of peace in the region". The governor, in his  Sallah message to the people, said, "the peace, security and prosperity of the country is paramount to every citizen . "We should therefore intensify prayers to our leaders to be guided aright  for increased peace, security, and prosperity of our dear country," he said.  Governor Buni charged the people of the state and the North East to  continue to support and cooperate with the security operatives.   Yobe state Governor,Mai Mala Buni has impressed with the tur-out of electorates who were at various poling units to exercise their civil rights during the local government chairmanship and councillors elections in the state. Buni expressed his mind shortly after  casting his vote at his polling station, Bulturam Yarimari, Buni- Gari town of Gujba Local Government of the state. He said,democracy is to give people the right to cast their votes in order to exercise their civil rights. Gov.Buni charges traditional rulers on youth morality

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state has charged traditional, religious leaders and parents on youth upbringing with descent morality. He gave the charged Tuesday when the new Emir of Tikau,Alh.Abubakar Muhammad Ibn Grema led a delegation of Tikau Emirate title holders on a thank you visit to the governor. Governor Buni reiterated the collective responsibility to rebuild the eroding culture of discipline, descency, and righteousness in the youth for a better future. "The government, traditional authorities, and parents all have the responsibility to arrest the growing decay in morality, discipline, and drug abuse. NLC,TUC Yobe direct all affiliates to join nationwide strike

Yobe State Chapter of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) here notify all affiliates and concern publics of the deadlock in ongoing negotiations between Organize Labour and Federal Government. In a statement jointly signed by the Vice Chairman NLC Yobe chapter, Ado Idrissa and Yobe State Chairman,TUC Bulama Musa and made available to journalists in Damaturu. According to the statement,the concerns of Organize Labour over the unresolved matters of New National Minimum Wage,Hike in Electricity Tariff and Categorization of Electricity Consumer into Bands are equaly shared by the Yobe State Chapters of organize Labour. The statement read apart, "Consequently,the Yobe State Chapter of NLC and TUC here directs all affiliates to join and fully comply with the directive to embark on an indefinite nationwide strike action effective Midnight 3rd June, 2024".
