13 settlements accessing child spacing services at Dikumari PHC

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu Over 70 percent of women who are mostly around the 13 settlements of Dikumari community in Damaturu Local government area are accessing to child birth spacing services in Dikumari healthcare facility monthly. Healthcare facility in-charge dikumari primary health care Mrs Falmata Mohammed made this known Wednesday while briefing the Yobe state family planning media champion who visit the facility in order to find out some of the success stories, challenges on the  child birth spacing in the community. YSCHMA holds meeting with enrollees to improve services

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  In an effort to ensure effective and efficient service delivery in achieving Universal Health Care Coverage in the state,Yobe Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA)has organized a one day town hall meeting with it's enrolees as well as stakeholders across the 3 zones of the State . The meeting is a step taking by the agency towards providing wider sensitization and engagement of beneficiaries of the scheme to understand the roles of all stakeholders involved including YSCHMA, health facilities and beneficiaries. Gov.Buni dissolve all LG councils

  By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved the dissolution of all Local Government Councils of the 17 Local Governments. This is contained in a statement by the Press Secretary to Yobe SSG, Shuaibu Abdullahi and made available to press men in Damaturu  According to the statement,Governor Buni has also directed all Local Government Chairmen to handover the affairs of their Local Governments to Directors of Personnel Management on or before Thursday 25th April, 2024.

He described as unfortunate that such incidence is happening at a time when the state is enjoying relative peace across the state. "It is sad and regrettable that lives are lost in an avoidable circumstance. "Gov. The governor prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to accept every act of worship executed by the people during the holy month. "As we celebrate the Eid-el-fitr, marking the end of the one month religious obligation, l enjoin us all to take the lessons of sacrifice, care and compassion exhibited during the fasting period beyond the Ramadan season.
